I’m a native English speaker who got to Mandarin fluency. That matters — because I lived the exact journey you're on.

I studied Mandarin at university, graduated with a first-class degree, spent a year living in Taiwan, and now teach the language professionally in UK secondary schools. I know where the walls are and how to get through them.

Trusty Chinese exists because I wanted more English speakers to actually speak Mandarin — not just study it indefinitely.
